  • Ardrishaig sits between Tarbert and Lochgilphead, although is considerably closer to Lochgilphead.

This very small linear village has a selection of hotels, bars and an ever diminishing number of small shops despite the good numbers of boats that pass through the Crinan Canal which stretches behind the main street

  • Ardrishaig is a small liner village which has several hotels and accommodation providers actually in the village with more just along the road or at nearby villages and towns such as Lochgilphead. Browse our Accommodation Directory or find a Late Deal bargain.

  • The Crinan Canal, designed and engineered by Thomas Telford stretches from Ardrishaig, opening into Loch Fyne, to Crinan, opening into the Crinan Basin. Many people like to walk along the canal up to Cairnbaan where there is a hotel and restaurant, and to see some of the stunning scenery that stretches from end to end.

There are many locks along the canal, during the late spring and summer months these are in use as various boats and their crews travel up and down the waterway.
